The first rally cars that rolled out of our facility were in the early ninties. The initial Maruti Suzuki 800 ( popularly dubbed as the old model ) and the 1.0 ltr gypsies were the most popular base rally cars at that point in time. The 800 build saw success in the Himalayan rally 1990 and the Castrol Mountian challenge 1993/94. Then came the Maruti Zen, while the first ever rally prepared zen in the country came out of Performance in 1994, it had to wait a few months to participate in any competition event as it was yet to complete homologation cooling off period formalities.
The last twenty years saw the gypsy transform into the 1.3 ltr avatar, intitially with a carb and then with fuel injection and a 16 valve head. Performance built gypsies and cars for the Raid ( winning the first raid in 1999 ) and the national championship rallies over the last two decades with success. Roll cage fabricated by us are known for their build quality and crash worthiness. Our premium version has an optimum design of extra members along with gussets and body shell fusion for additional strength and protection.
Our facility have the latest in technology in terms of engine upgrades , competition quality suspension and other requisite addons.We represent many global brands manufacturing competition quality spares relevant for such builds.The in house body shop is passionate about the quality it delivers ! The expert team of panel beaters and paint engineers are able to produce paint finish to rival the OE finish available on the new car.The actual paint finish is done in a state of the art paint booth in completely controlled environment.Paint technicians that have more than two decades of experience using copy book techniques and top notch base material ensure that the finish is long lasting and blemish free.Our bodyshop is a facility that uses and is familiar most international brands of aftermarket paint finishes.Our satisfied customers swear by our quality and craftsmanship.
